Matcha Hummus with Matcha Dukkah

Creamy chickpea hummus gets a vibrant boost from culinary matcha, balanced with tahini, lemon, and cumin for a smooth, earthy dip. It’s finished with crunchy Matcha Dukkah—a fragrant blend of toasted nuts, sesame seeds, spices, and a hint of matcha—that adds texture and deepens the green‑tea flavor. Serve with pita, crudités, or as a spread for toast and wraps.


Ingredients

  • 1 (15-ounce) can chickpeas, drained
  • 1 garlic clove, chopped
  • 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 3 tablespoons tahini
  • 2 tablespoons warm water
  • 1 tablespoon avocado oil
  • 1 teaspoon matcha
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • Match Salt


Instructions

  1. Combine the hummus ingredients in a food processor. Process until smooth. Spoon into a bowl and sprinkle with Matcha Dukkah. Garnish with Matcha Salt.
